Client Intake and Branding
The first step in the processes is for you to fill out the contractor website design client intake form and get it back to us.

When we get that, we begin branding the website with the necessary digital imaging requirements. This is includes any company logo, company business profile, fonts, colors, and any images you provide.

Content Integration
We integrate the content you provide to establish your branding on the site according to our page layouts for our basic web design.

Once we’ve completed the branding phase, we integrate the informational content you provide using the chosen template’s inner-page layout which includes the Home Page, About Us Page, Contact Page, and up to two other pages of your choice.

Important Website Building Terms

As with any contractor website design project, the website files must must be “hosted” on a server to be visible on the internet. Hosting is a specialized “cloud” that is designed to provide files near instantly whenever someone clicks a link that points to your site or types in your site's web address.

The words that someone types directly into the web address bar at the top of a web browser is your domain name. Example: chriscarter.net. The domain name tells the web browser where online to go to access your website files. This is also referred to as your web address.

You do not own a domain name. You only register its use. Your domain registration fee gives you control over a domain name and what files it points to.

With the WEBSITE PLUS HOSTING plan and LEAD GENERATION SITE plans initial domain registration is free. Annual renewal is free as part of your hosting plan.

*Domain names with endings other than .com, .org, or .net may require an additional fee. Examples of these are location domain names endings such as .vegas, .london or .nyc

Unsecured websites have web addresses that begin with HTTP. Secured websites have SSL certificates installed and begin with HTTPS.

Web browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome or Apple Safari note the security status of a website in the address bar. Without an SSL certificate web surfers see a notation in the browser address bar that the website is NOT SECURE.

We provide basic On-Page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with all of our contractor website design plans.  You provide us with one  keyword or keyword phrase per page. We will optimize the code on your individual web pages so the search engines.

A key part of contractor website design is on-going maintenance. The software that runs your website needs to be updated regularly to maintain peak performance and protect your from crashes and hackers. In addition to updating website software, website maintenance includes regular backups of your website files to restore your site in the event of a crash or hack.

A landing page is a specially formatted web page created specifically for a marketing or advertising campaign. It’s where a visitor “lands” after they click on a link in an email, or ads from Google, or Facebook or similar places online.

Unlike web pages, which can have many goals and encourage exploration, landing pages are designed with a single focus or goal, known as a call to action (or CTA, for short).

For our purposes, a chatbot assistant is a piece of software that  is designed to have a conversation with visitors to your website.  Chatbots enable you to begin engaging with your online prospects instantly.  Chatbots enable you to provide information to your website visitors in a format similar to instant messaging.

Email marketing is the use of email to promote products or services. It is used also used to develop relationships with prospects and customers to help guide them through the buying process.
